Smooth interaction between business activities and the corresponding elements of information technology (IT) is a basic prerequisite for the business success of any company.

In order to ensure such interaction, the people responsible for IT and corporate management require not only clearly defined corporate goals but also the most comprehensive information possible on the structure and behaviour of current and future business processes, information systems and organisational units - in other words, a comprehensive view of the enterprise architecture.

Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) deals with precisely this problem and offers alternative solutions for recording, planning and designing an enterprise architecture. The aim of this project group is to design and prototype an EAM system. In order to guarantee the widest possible range of applications, the focus is on the flexibility of the system, which is to be ensured by a modular system structure.
