There are also plenty of tips on everything to do with your first clinical placement. You’ll be guided and supported throughout by our team of trained tutors.

You will be guided and supported by our trained team of tutors. Please note that to take part in the practical session, you must have already attended the relevant Stud.IP course (in the winter semester: 6.01.4461211b, Year 4: Internal Medicine – Seminar and 6.01.4461205b Year 4: Surgery – Seminar).

ALS

...for all students from the 4th year onwards

In the “TÜZ: ALS” course, you can expand and consolidate the knowledge and skills you have acquired in the ALS module through practical exercises. Our team of trained tutors will guide and support you throughout the course. We offer you the opportunity to register as a small group and practise independently in a safe environment.

PJ practice

...for all students from the 5th year of study onwards
  • During the “TÜZ: PJ Practice” sessions, you can come to our KTZ to learn, practise, consolidate or refresh practical skills relevant to the clinical year. We set up a skills circuit that includes, amongst other things, suturing, airway management, auscultation and ultrasound. You can also borrow and use all other materials and manikins as required. The clinical placement practice sessions take place at the start of each new clinical placement year and are supervised by the KTZ’s medical director, Dr Wüstenbecker.
  • The KTZ is, of course, also available to all clinical year students preparing for M3 outside of the clinical year practice sessions, during the free practice times.
