Verification and validation of highly automated vehicles
Autonomous traffic technology systems are increasingly in the public eye, be it through Google's initiative with regard to highly automated vehicles or, more classically and currently more tangible for the end customer, through assistance systems in the car that increasingly actively intervene in vehicle control. In this lecture, we will look at the technical concepts behind this. The spectrum will range from control aspects of kinematically highly constrained systems to safety aspects including automation risks and cooperative schemes of autonomous behaviour. The course will be divided into a lecture and a seminar part. The presentation of a seminar lecture is also the examination content.
