Final theses
As a first and second reviewer, I supervise theses with a school pedagogical focus (change in school and teaching; professionalism and professionalisation; being a student), preferably with a qualitative research approach. Please take note of the information on theses on the department's website.
I regularly offer seminars in the Master's degree module (MAM). These serve as peer-to-peer research counselling, which I moderate. I expect regular attendance and active participation in these seminars from students whose theses I supervise as the first examiner.
Topics of completed Master's theses (selection):
- Participation of pupils as a problem in schools. Perspectives of reform-oriented teachers
- The subjective relevance of university teacher training for the professionalisation process of teachers
- Promoting giftedness in an inclusive context
- Teachers in the corona pandemic - an interview study on stress factors and resources
