VPP 2.0 - Concept for data exchange between system controllers and schedule managers
Duration: 1 June 2008 to 31 December 2009
The aim of the project was to develop formal methods for the representation and compression of quantities of realisable and realisable load profiles or feed-in curves for efficient transmission between decentralised generators - for example CHP plants - and decentralised, controllable consumers - for example cold stores - on the one hand and a central schedule manager on the other. Bidirectional transformations were developed for this purpose, in which the decentralised plants describe their possible load profiles for a given time interval in the most compact form possible, so that the selection of a specific load profile to be realised from this space can be made in coordination with a schedule manager according to central optimisation criteria.
The project was carried out on behalf of EWE AG.
