Diplom thesis: Customer management system
Diplom thesis: Customer management system
The "customer" object plays an important role in many business processes, from sales to after-sales support. The views of the customer are very complex. From a process perspective, the specific characteristics of the "customer" object range from individual employees to several departmental levels to the company as a whole. Depending on the process, for example purchasing or production, different departments or persons of the customer must be addressed. From a technical point of view, business processes with the customer are often not carried out in an integrated system, but in various loosely coupled applications with redundant data storage. The aim of the Diplom thesis is to derive an approach for the "customer" object and to implement it in the form of a prototype application as a central and standardised data source for customer data. In the first phase, the various characteristics of the "customer" object are to be recorded, related to each other and standardised. The second phase involves the prototypical creation of a customer management system that provides and receives customer data as a web service for individual applications as required.
Applicants should have a sound knowledge of the typical business processes of industrial companies and the creation of web services. Basic knowledge of data modelling is helpful.
