Support for accessible applications in open source projects

Accessibility is an important social issue that is also regulated by law in regulations such as the BITV. In terms of technology and content, the challenges are complex and varied, so that any support in creating accessible content is of great value. In this thesis, the most widespread open source web platforms and their respective ecosystems are to be analysed and evaluated in terms of the support they provide for accessibility.
