Objective
The aim of the InTechCup is to give pupils the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to work cooperatively, independently and purposefully outside of school. Participation in the competition is not only a motivating element for the pupils. A high degree of teamwork is also required to overcome the challenges. Technical thinking and behaviour must be used effectively and are thus deepened and expanded, as are the technical qualifications. At the same time, this event aims to create an early positive bond between young people and the subject of Computing Science and the University of Oldenburg.
After the competition was aimed at the schools in the InTech project in the first few years, the competition is now being continued after the end of the project and is open to all schools in the region.
InTechCup 2014
The InTechCup 2014 will once again take place as a three-way competition with both individual and overall rankings. The competition will be held on 25 July 2014 from 9:30 am at the Neues Gymnasium in Oldenburg.
InTech Cup 2013
On 15 June 2013, from 9 a.m. to approx. 4 p.m., the InTech Cup 2013 took place at Damme High School.
InTech Cup 2012
The InTech Cup 2012 was held at Bad Zwischenahn-Edewecht secondary school on 14 July 2012. 29 teams of secondary school students from 10 different schools took part. The student teams were able to take part with their robots in the three different disciplines of "storage", "air bowling" and "prey hunter game".

InTech Cup 2011
On 2 July 2011, the InTech Cup will take place for the second time at Herbartgymnasium in Oldenburg. The teams of students have to master three different disciplines with their robots. In the "Tempodrom" discipline, a course must be travelled as quickly as possible from the bottom to the top and from there straight back down to the starting point. In the "All Nine" discipline, the robot has to knock over nine cones in succession. Finally, the robot has to get a ball into the goal in the "penalty shoot-out".
InTech Cup 2010
The tournament, which took place on 12 June 2010 at the University of Oldenburg, is based on the original RoboCupJunior Rescue competition. The "rescue robots" constructed by teams of pupils have to follow a black line through a landscape with obstacles, height differences, different lighting conditions and interruptions, finding "victims" and transporting them to a rescue area. The aim is to complete the course as quickly as possible and fulfil as many of the requirements as possible.
