The centre assembly

The Centre Assembly consists of all members and affiliates of the DiZ. It discusses all fundamental matters of the DiZ and can make recommendations. It has a comprehensive right to information vis-à-vis the bodies and committees of the DiZ with regard to fundamental decisions in the DiZ, provided that there are no legal provisions to the contrary.
The status group of technical and administrative staff (MTV) elects the two MTV representatives for the Teacher Training Commission in the Centre Assembly. All members of the DiZ are entitled to vote in the Centre Assembly. Affiliates only have the right to vote on substantive motions.
As a rule, the Board of Directors convenes a Centre Assembly once a year and whenever deemed necessary by at least half of the members. A centre meeting must also be convened if elections are to be held for the MTV status group of the Commission for Teacher Education.
