According to the Centre's regulations, all members and affiliates of the University of Oldenburg can become members of the Centre for Teacher Education - Didactic Centre (DiZ) in a secondary membership if their work in School I to V is primarily concerned with teacher education.

Importance of your membership of the DiZ

  • Members of the DiZ are usually invited to the Centre Assembly once a year. This serves to provide regular information and a broad exchange within the centre. There is no obligation to attend the centre meeting.
  • Members receive the Centre's information service (biannual newsletter, information on cross-faculty, teaching-related research initiatives, announcements of conferences and calls for proposals) and can also use the Centre's office network of regional schools and teachers.

Joining as a DiZ member

There are various ways to become a DiZ member:

  • Individuals apply for membership.

    • Bachelor students please send an informal proposal by email to with the following data: Salutation, first name, surname, title, email address, status, School and Institute (Master of Education students are members of the Centre by virtue of their status).
