At the invitation of Dr Michael Kock and Dr Gert Würtenberger (GRUR Expert Committee on the Protection of New Plant Varieties), Prof Dr Godt will be giving a presentation at the annual conference of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (5-7 October 2022) on the topic: "New Plant Varieties - Is the current system of protection for new plant varieties in need of reform?". Prof Dr Godt accepts the invitation to be a member of the " All European Academies (ALLEA) Task Group on the IP system for New Genomic Techniques (NGTs)" . The first working meeting will take place on 15 Nov 2022.

At the invitation of Prof. Dr. Elena Ioriatti, Prof. Dr. Godt will give a lecture on "21st Century Property in Europe" at the doctoral programme of the University of Trento. The slides of the lecture can be found here [...].

On 17 June 2022, Prof. Dr Godt celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Hanse Law School with a ceremony in the auditorium of the University of Oldenburg. In the first part, the founding generation discussed the beginnings of the HLS; in the second part, the authors of the six best theses gave insights into their topics. Music and a champagne reception rounded off the successful celebrations.
