Together with Prof. Bonnie Holligan (University of Sussex), Prof. Godt from the organised a workshop entitled “Comparative Analysis of Approaches to Peatland Protection: Reimagining Private Property Rights” from 24 to 26 June 2026, funded by the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN), a workshop entitled“Comparative Analysis of Approaches to Peatland Protection: Reimagining Private Property Rights” at the International Academy for Nature Conservation (INA) on the island of Vilm.

This time, under the leadership of Prof. Dr Peter Rott (UOL), the third workshop of the project “New Maritime and Port Disputes – Les nouveaux contentieux maritimes et portuaires”, secured by Prof. Godt and Prof. Jude (Université le Havre) from the DAAD/French Ministry of Science (FMAI) . This time, the focus was on the project’s legal issues concerning “persons at sea”.

On 21 April 2026, Prof. Dr Godt was invited together with Dr Pedro H. Batista by the 'ALLIANCE OF THE UNIVERSITY AND NON-UNIVERSITY BIODIVERSITY RESEARCH IN GERMANY + CETAF' to speak at the symposium "Keeping DSI free open and unrestricted in different fora - How obligatory benefits sharing can work" on the topic "DSI: Legal options opportunities of a 'Public Goods' approach: Conflicts among different fora and potential ways out".

On 26/27 February 2026, Prof. Dr Godt was invited to the opening of the new Humboldt IP Institute at Humboldt University, which will be headed by Prof. Katharina de la Durantaye, Prof. Dr Axel Metzger and Prof. Dr Herbert Zech. A workshop was held on 26 February 2026 (photo), at which Prof. Dr Godt gave a presentation on "Access to publicly funded platform technology - examples of H₂ projects under the EU umbrella".

On 22 and 23 January 2026, Prof. Dr Bonnie Holligan (University of Sussex) was a guest at the chair to teach the course "Comparative Property Law" together with Prof. Dr Christine Godt in the form of team teaching.
