Hanse Law School co-operation with the RUG Groningen.
The HLS directors Prof Dr Christoph Schmid (University of Bremen) and Prof Dr Christine Godt (University of Oldenburg) are jointly renewing their co-operation with the University of Groningen. During a visit to Groningen, the two German directors introduced themselves to their Dutch colleagues. Together they discussed the possibilities of maintaining the so-called double master's degree and the acquisition of the "Effectus Civilis" - despite the changes in the university's regulations and the legislative changes in the Netherlands.

Lecture "Environmental Land Burdens in Germany",
At the invitation of Prof. Dr Vincent Sagaert and Dr Siel Demeyere, University of Leuven, Institute for Property Law, Prof. Godt will speak at the conference "Contract and Property with an Environmental Perpective" on the long-term safeguarding of environmental obligations in nature and climate protection law in Germany in comparison to European countries and North America.

Continuity at the HLS Advisory Board.
The long-standing Chair of the HLS Advisory Board, Dr Bernd Seifert, legal advisor at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Oldenburg, has agreed to continue as Chair of the HLS Advisory Board under the new management. The two HLS directors in Oldenburg and Bremen thank him for this.

New coordinator of the Hanse Law School.
The University of Oldenburg has appointed Alexander Cordes to the chair of Prof Dr Godt as the new coordinator of the Hanse Law School Oldenburg. Prof Dr Godt thanks the outgoing coordinator of the Hanse Law School, Anne Klemeyer, for her extremely successful work for the Hanse Law School over the course of 2019.

Hanse Law School Director once again.
The Presidential Board of the University of Oldenburg has once again appointed Prof Dr Godt as Director of the Hanse Law School Oldenburg.
