Plants from various mountain ranges are on display in the Alpinum.

Special emphasis is placed on the Alps, the Caucasus, the Himalayas and the Rocky Mountains.

The plants are organised according to typical soil conditions and altitude. They also include plants from northern Europe, which are subject to similar ecological conditions. A ravine, a waterfall and two small streams divide the area.
