The areas with trees are relatively large, partly forest-like and they are organised geographically.

There are the areas of Central Europe, Japan, China, Pacific North America, Atlantic North America and South America.

Due to the mild winter climate in Oldenburg, there are trees here that do not grow in many other parts of Germany, e.g. the coast redwood and various evergreen oaks. There are also a particularly large number of early bloomers.
