Digitisation of lectures
Digitisation of lectures
Audio slides can be a useful addition to classroom lectures or seminars and help students prepare for and follow up on the content. You can either digitise your lectures by screen recording them on your own device or have them recorded directly in the lecture hall using media technology.
Screen recording with MS PowerPoint
The easiest way to record your screen, especially for digitising existing presentations, is directly in PowerPoint. Navigate to the Slide Show tab and select Record Slide Show. You can then make an audio recording for each slide and, if you wish, record yourself in the video at the same time. You can then export the entire presentation as a video. You can find brief instructions in the following video or this pdf document.
Recording your lecture directly in the lecture theatre
In some rooms of the university, you can have your lecture automatically recorded by the media technology after admission. These include rooms V03 0-C002 and 0-D002 in building V03. Please register for this two weeks before the lecture date at .
You can find instructions on the process in this pdf document.
