Dr Anja Schäfer

P.p. of the Ministry of Schools, Family and Vocational Training of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the University of Oldenburg is monitoring and evaluating school social work in general education schools in Hamburg. Multi-professional co-operation is at the centre of the study. The aim is to obtain empirical data on the implementation and effectiveness of school social work in Hamburg.

The following methodological approaches are planned to answer the research question:

1. Secondary analyses of quantitative data and relevant documents
2. Qualitative surveys with various actors at the action and management level,
3. a quantitative survey of various stakeholder groups.
