Collaboration Network of Marine Graduate Programs

The northwestern region of Germany is internationally recognized for its excellence in marine, polar and climate research.Together, universities and research institutions build a strong training network for early career scientists. Structured M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs guarantee marine education and supervision on its highest level

The language of education in all graduate courses is English. In most programs, international students make up half of the student body. Close cooperation between the research institutions ensures that early career scientists are welcome to participate in trainings offered by programs other than their own. An overview over study and training opportunities for Master and Ph.D. students as well as early career Postdocs are also shown on a common website of the programmes.
