• One: Release of professorship

• 5: Appointment hearing
• 6: Acceptance or rejection of appointment

• The process can take about a year, the part concerning the student body about half a year.

Composition of the BK

• Composition depends on the size of the professorship
• 4-7 professors and often also 1-2 external members
• A committee includes student representatives, academic staff and other employees (administration)
