Apply
I would like to apply for the Master’s in Landscape Ecology. How many credit points do I need to have earned by the time I submit my application documents?
150 credit points. If you have already completed a Bachelor’s degree, you will need your degree certificate – or, if this is not yet available, a certificate confirming the modules you have completed, the credit points and your average grade.
How do I apply? What are the admission requirements?
You can find the detailed admissions regulations in the box on the left (on mobile: at the bottom). We have summarised the key points below.
- Admission is open to those who hold a first professional Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences or a related environmental Bachelor’s degree programme and have acquired knowledge in the disciplines of organismic biology, hydrology, soil science, geography and environmental planning, or in related disciplines.
- In addition to your Bachelor’s degree mark, you can earn extra points through involvement in environmental and nature conservation work, final-year projects on landscape ecology topics, internships, etc.
- Admission is generally only possible for the winter semester. Admission for the summer semester is only permitted in justified exceptional cases.
