In this exhibition you will encounter works of art dedicated to the theme of "fruit". We are showing works by various artists from different periods. The fruit pictures are painted or moulded as sculptures. A wide variety of fruit varieties will be presented. You can then puzzle over which fruits you recognise. Which fruits come from faraway countries and which grow on our doorstep? What can you make from fruit? Are tomatoes fruit or vegetables?

After the exhibition tour, you can take your collected ideas back to our studio and get creative yourself.

We take you on a journey into the world of the artist Otto Mueller, who depicted many people naked in the landscape in his paintings. The journey begins with an important picture from our collection. A boy stands in front of three girls; they are spending a summer afternoon in nature.

In the exhibition, we show other bathing scenes that we will get to know better on our art journey. You can either make up stories about the different scenes in the pictures and turn them into your own pictures, or you can think about your last bath in the great outdoors and paint a picture of it.
