The Florida International University College of Business (FIU Business) is our latest partnership in North America. The Modesto A. Maidique campus of the College of Business is located in Miami on the east coast of Florida. The cosmopolitan city with around half a million inhabitants offers a Caribbean flair with countless beautiful beach promenades. The most famous of these is probably Ocean Drive in South Beach.

FIU was founded in 1965 and is characterised in particular by its diversity, as it has the highest proportion of Hispanic-American graduates in the country. Almost 60,000 students are enrolled at FIU. Around one sixth study at the College of Business, which is one of the 5% of elite business schools worldwide that are accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Until now, academic exchange was only possible for business students. From the academic year 2025/26, interdisciplinary exchanges will be possible. Master's courses can also be attended at FIU.

FIU Business requires a TOEFL or IELTS as proof of language skills from exchange students. TOEFL minimum score: 80 internet based, 550 paper based; the TOEFL itp (institutional based) is not accepted. IELTS minimum score 6.5.

A minimum grade point average of 2.0 is required for an exchange place at FIU Business.
