Towson University (TU) in Towson has around 18,000 students and is part of the catchment area of Baltimore, Maryland. The cities of Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York City, among others, are easily accessible by American standards. The partnership with Towson University is one of our oldest co-operations.

The climate in the region is rather mild and therefore comparable to Oldenburg.

The TU is very well positioned in areas such as economics, education, history, philosophy, English and the natural sciences and enjoys a good international reputation. In the past, the exchange with music was very lively.

Oldenburg students can only choose courses at Bachelor level.
