The UW La Crosse introduces itself

USA, La Crosse: University of Wisconsin–La Crosse

The University of Wisconsin La Crosse is located on the northern edge of the city of La Crosse with its approximately 50,000 inhabitants. Situated directly on the Mississippi River and surrounded by mountains, La Crosse is a good starting point for discovering other American cities such as Madison, Minneapolis or Chicago. Many Americans of German descent live in La Crosse. This probably also explains the fact that an Oktoberfest is celebrated here every year at the end of September.

The University of Wisconsin La Crosse has a very good reputation and is known for its wide range of sports programmes, among other things. Courses can only be chosen at Bachelor level. The university is particularly popular with students studying teaching, biology, psychology, special education and sport. Students of sustainability research will also find interesting courses at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. There are currently around 10,500 students enrolled at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Most of them are undergraduate students and live on campus.
