Publication lists often originate from existing databases, which are therefore maintained elsewhere and are then to be displayed on a website. Two methods are supported at the UOL: the listing of publications from the university bibliography (HSB) and the formatted output of reference lists based on files in BIB format.

  Publication data from university members is maintained in the library's university bibliography.
• Generating publication lists from BibTeX files
  Bibliographies can be exported as a file from a reference management programme in a standardised format (here: BibTeX) and then displayed on a website.
