Enclosed is the programme for the upcoming O-week.
First things first
What exactly is the deal with compulsory attendance, active participation and attendance certificates? You can find further information on the organisation and administration of your degree programme under ‘Information on your degree programme’.
At the start of the winter semester, the Philosophy Student Council organises an ‘Info-Café’ to provide a setting where questions about your degree, the university and timetable planning can be answered over tea, coffee and biscuits. There’s also a campus tour, a pub night at Marvin’s, at Rosenstraße 6, and several workshops.
For many years now, a film series has been held at Cine K during the winter semester. For what is now the umpteenth year, we are organising this under the title Philosophy and Film . It can be found on Stud.IP under the event name “Philosophy & Film” or the event number “4.03.998”. The film series takes place on Tuesdays from 6.30 pm to around 10.00 pm (including discussion).
