A few basic rules apply when dealing with passwords, for example

Passwords should be as long and complex as possible (at least length 12, upper/lower case letters, numbers and special characters)

Passwords should not be reused. In particular, the UOL user password must not be used for any other purpose

For these reasons, a password manager is highly recommended. This stores an unlimited number of passwords and supports the creation of secure passwords. At the same time, it can fill in passwords automatically (via browser plugin). Here at the UOL we recommend KeePass (especially Windows) or the closely related KeePassXC.
