What does our food actually consist of? Food contains very different substances that you can find yourself not only with complex laboratory equipment, but also with very simple means.

We want to search together for different substances contained in food and visualise them with the help of simple experiments.

Food tastes and smells different - but how does this work? Which substances can you smell and which can you taste? We also explore these questions together and get to know our chemical senses better in the process.
