2 subjects Bachelor Technology

Studying the subject of Technology in the 2-subject Bachelor's programme comprises a total of 60 credit points (CP). The 60 credit points are awarded on successful completion of the basic and advanced modules:

Basic modules

ModuleLectureSeminarCredit points

Tec 030Didactic foundations of technical educationDesign and evaluation of learning processes in technical education.6 CP
Tec 040-Basic courses: Metal and plastics technology + mechanical woodworking + electrical engineering and electronics12 CP

Within the basic modules tec 020 and tec 040, the seminars can be completed separately. The examinations required in the respective seminars are taken together with the seminar. In the module tec 030, the lecture and seminar must be taken within one semester, as both contents are relevant to the examination.

!

Three seminars are offered in module tec 020 . The seminar Introduction to Fusion 360 is a compulsory module. Students can choose between the two seminars Fundamentals of Technology and Fundamentals of Special Needs Education. Voluntary participation in both seminars is possible.

Advanced modules

The prerequisite for enrolment in the advanced modules is the successful completion of the basic modules listed above (30 CP). Only in justified exceptional cases (further information and the relevant form are available from the Office) can advanced modules be brought forward.

The advanced modules build on the content of the basic modules and a total of 30 CP must also be studied here. The skills acquired in the basic modules are expanded here and individual specialisations are set. There are a total of ten advanced modules, of which only five must be taken. The advanced modules are divided into four groups and one module must be chosen from each group. The fifth module is freely selectable.

The Bachelor's thesis (BA) with 12 CP can be written either in the subject Technology or in the 2nd subject. If the BA is written in the subject Technology, the accompanying course with 3 CP must also be attended in the degree programme Technology.
