Simple
I trace the lines. I click on a tool. I use the colour black.

Use the tools to trace the lines of your motif. Only use the colour black.
(Info: The motif on the T-shirt can also have other colours later).

Heavy
The handwritten sketch is painted over on the new layer using the appropriate tool (e.g. the brush). Only the colour black is used. (This is important for the production of the screen, even if it is to be printed in a different colour later).
