Gallery with [Text & Media] - Examples
Depending on the number of images per row, the maximum possible width of the respective images also changes automatically. A total width of 750px is available in the content area in the "large" website view. A space of 10px is inserted between each image. In addition, the required width is also influenced by the setting as to whether a frame/shadow should be added. Below are some examples of the resulting image widths.
Grid of 5
If the [Text and images] element has been created, text can be added in addition to the images. This text is one such example. To ensure that the images appear underneath, the alignment is set to "bottom left" in the [Appearance] tab. The 4-column grid is created by setting the "Number of columns" field to the value 5.
To ensure that the thumbnails, which are generated automatically by Typo3, utilise exactly the available width, the corresponding pixel width must be selected in the image settings depending on the number of columns.
The following values apply in the 4-column grid ("Appearance"):
Number of columns: 5; Width (pixels): 142
