Images
- Maximum image width: Normally, the large images fill the available width completely. If required, the width - and consequently also the height - of the images can be limited to a lower value. As a result, the images appear smaller and are displayed centred.
- How to scale images:
- Filled, crop if necessary: Images of unequal height always fill the presentation area completely, so they are enlarged accordingly if necessary, but this can result in parts of the image being cut off to the right and left.
- Show all, margins if necessary: Images of unequal height are always fitted into the presentation area so that they can be seen in their entirety, but with flatter images there is a visible empty space (margin) at the top and bottom.
- No filling / cropping of the images: Smaller images are not automatically enlarged to the size of the presentation frame, which can result in empty spaces (borders) on all sides.
- Background colour
- Transparent: any empty spaces around the images are transparent
- Grey: any empty spaces around the images are given a light grey background. This means that the contours of the presentation area are always clearly recognisable, even if some images do not completely fill them (this can occur with the Show all, margins setting).
Navigation elements
- Navigation elements
- None: This setting is only useful in conjunction with the automatic image change (see sub-tab [Image gallery effects]). All navigation elements are hidden, only the automatic transition takes place. However, clicking on the large image also works here in order to be able to scroll through the images in the enlarged view.
- Dots: Coloured navigation buttons are displayed below the large image.
- Thumbnails: Clickable thumbnails of all images are displayed below the large image
- Width of the thumbnails: the size of the thumbnails can be influenced by your own numerical values (e.g. 100 or more).
- Height of the thumbnails: the size of the thumbnails can be influenced by your own numerical values (e.g. 100 or more). Use only instead of the width value!
Slideshow effects
- Start picture change automatically: A slide show function can be activated here, the pictures then change automatically every few seconds
Further variation options
