The language of education in all graduate courses is English. In most programs, international students make up half of the student body. Close cooperation between the research institutions ensures that early career scientists are welcome to participate in trainings offered by programs other than their own. An overview over study and training opportunities for Master and Ph.D. students in marine science are shown on the common website of the programmes at the Northwest Germany Marine Research Association (Nordwestverbund Meeresforschung).
