You are currently doing your PhD or your postdoc at the University of Oldenburg and want to continue your research in Germany?
German academia and especially the German academic system can be a tough nut to crack. Our workshop will provide you with the most important information on how to conduct independent research and/or extend your stay in Germany: How does the academic system work? What do I need to know about the funding landscape in Germany? How do I put together an academic portfolio for career planning and application? And how can I develop a successful strategy for raising my own third-party funding?
As well as an information session, there will be plenty of time to reflect on your own academic career, ask questions, exchange ideas with other international researchers and plan your next steps.
Please bring your CV to get maximum benefit from the workshop!
