Project objectives	Development of a "New European Wind Atlas" Improvement of advanced models towards a forecasting accuracy of better than 3% in flat terrain and 10% in any terrain in terms of energy yield, design conditions and short-term forecasting (see Strategic Research Agenda, 2008 and TP Wind)
Specific contributions and objectives WESys	Two measurement campaigns with a long-range Multi-Lidar system in Kassel (Germany) and Portugal
