What motivated you to become an anniversary ambassador for the University of Oldenburg?
It didn't take much motivation at all. It makes me proud that I can and am allowed to be an ambassador for our university on this anniversary.
What characterises the University of Oldenburg for you - please name three terms spontaneously.
Innovative, modern, reliable.
What do you wish the University of Oldenburg for its next 40 years?
I wish our university successful and innovative Institutes, good professors and the necessary equipment for successful teaching and research in the future. But especially young and motivated students who bring a breath of fresh air to our university and drive it forward with their creativity and enthusiasm.
Why do you think it is important and right for the University of Oldenburg to celebrate its 40th birthday in a fitting manner?
Carl von Ossietzky University has achieved remarkable things over the last 40 years. Since its foundation, it has developed into a modern university. Renowned Institutes have settled here and the university has an excellent reputation throughout Germany. This should and must be celebrated.
