Overview of the conference venue
INFOS2017 will take place in the lecture hall centre A14 of the University of Oldenburg on the Haarentor campus.
Travelling by train
INFOS 2017 Participants can travel by GI. e.V. and train at special rates. Further information
Travelling by public transport
The Haarentor campus is served by lines 306 "Universität", 310 "Wehnen/Famila-Center" and 324 "Infanterieweg".
These lines connect the university sites with the ZOB (main railway station) and the main transfer point "Lappan" (city centre).
Travelling by car
Coming from the Oldenburg-Ost motorway junction, take the A28 towards Emden/Leer. Leave the motorway at the Haarentor exit and turn right at the traffic lights onto Ammerländer Heerstraße. At the second set of traffic lights (after approx. 800 metres), turn left into Uhlhornsweg.
On weekdays, you will find plenty of parking spaces in one of the two multi-storey car parks:
- Library underground car park
- Entrance via Uhlhornsweg 55
- A55 multi-storey car park
- Entrance via Haarenfeld and Uhlhornsweg
When entering the address into the navigation system, we recommend using the address for the entrance to the underground car park: Uhlhornsweg 55, 26129 Oldenburg (Olbg)
