Who hasn't dreamt of going on an expedition on a ship to new and unknown parts of the world's oceans? Today, such voyages are no longer about exploring new countries, but about researching life in the oceans that are still little known to us. Such an expedition is an adventure in which you are exposed to wind, weather and waves. We will go on such an expedition (hopefully no one will get seasick) and learn about the possibilities of studying the sea and its creatures: not only the many fish and whales, but also the countless tiny creatures that the larger animals live on. We will explore different seas, warm and cold, and see how diverse and different life is in them. Moderator: Anke Genius Wednesday, 16 September 2009
