Emil Nolde was an artist who tried out many different techniques: he painted large pictures in oil, but also small pictures with watercolour, which is similar to watercolour. But Nolde also printed and drew pictures. He invented many stories and figures in the process. For example, he came up with his own fairytale characters, which we look at together.
Then we'll try out what it's like to print a picture in different colours.
