Simple
I place the cardboard on the table.
I place the ruler at the bottom of the left-hand corner. The ruler lies exactly on the edge.
I measure 11.9 cm.
I mark the distance with the black pen.

Mark the measured distance with a dot.
Arabic: ضع قطعة الورق المقوى( الكرتونة) على الطاولة. الجهة الطويلة باتجاهك.ضع المسطرة على الجهة اليسرى على الزاوية. قس مقدار 11.9 سم. علم المسافة التي قستها بوضع نقطة تعليم.

Heavy
Place the cardboard on the table with the long side facing you. Then place the steel ruler on the bottom left-hand corner and on the long side of the cardboard.
Use the steel ruler to measure 11.9 cm. Mark the dimensions with a pencil.
