Since 2014, the Academy for Ethics in Medicine has awarded a prize for the best presentation at the annual conference.

The prize is endowed with 500.00 euros and requires an application. Applicants must not be older than 39 years and not yet habilitated. If a doctoral thesis has been completed, a maximum of 5 years may have passed since the date of the doctorate. An extension of this deadline, e.g. due to raising children or working outside of academia, can be granted on request. In addition, the person must not have won the prize for the best presentation before. A prize committee will select the winner. The prize is awarded during the last plenary session of the respective annual conference.
