The theatre's three children's clubs have been meeting weekly since September to develop their plays. The themes are as varied as the clubs:
In the play WILD., everything takes place in the world of wild children. Here they shout, run, laugh, cry, fall down and get up again. No school, no homework, no adults. This world is a child's paradise. The audience is invited to join them on an exciting journey of adventure.

Girls wear pink and play with dolls and boys like to play football and with cars. Not at all!!! In Platt'n'Studio 8+, "boy and girl" clichés are playfully scrutinised, broken up and rethought. How changeable and negotiable are gender roles? Which clichés have survived for decades? What do others expect of me - parents, classmates, friends...? We'll clear the air and show you who and how we really are.

Get up early or leave the alarm clock ringing in the hope of getting some sleep? Toast or muesli for breakfast? To the lake or the outdoor pool? In the play development Either - Or, we playfully get to the bottom of the origins and consequences of our decisions. What would happen if I didn't go to school today? Or if I went to the playground instead of the dentist? There is no going back. How can I make the right choice? As long as we don't make a decision, all options remain open. Make up your mind and come to the theatre!

Today is the day. Because the country she lives in has become increasingly bleak, she has to leave. Now she quietly packs her suitcase, says goodbye to her friends and leaves her homeland. After a long crossing on an ocean liner, she arrives in a gigantic city. Everything here is foreign: the writing, the language, the food, even the clocks measure time according to a different system. She doesn't feel really welcome at first. But then she encounters helpfulness and hospitality as well as men and women who have experienced a similar fate, who had to leave their homeland to escape war, threats and persecution.

AndersLand tells the story of an emigrant's loneliness in a foreign country and her attempts to gain a foothold there in powerful images. In Sara Ostertag's production, objects, figures and projections merge with Simon Dietersdorfer's haunting music to create magical theatre.
