Web 2.0 - the "participatory internet"! It offers great opportunities: You can design your own websites, post pictures or videos, chat with friends or study for school with your classmates. Networks such as SchülerVZ, MySpace, Facebook or face parties and applications such as wikis and blogs make it possible. Millions of people use social networks on the Internet. And what so many are doing is surely a good thing - right?
However, you should think carefully about what information you put online about yourself or others, as a photo or text cannot be deleted. You never know who will find the data later. Friends? Teachers? Parents?
The Internet forgets nothing. In a journey through time, we will see that it is still possible to open websites that are over 15 years old. The lecture will also give you tips on how to better protect your privacy on the Internet.
