The dissertation projects carried out as part of the doctoral programme approach border formations in migration society in various fields of migration society (such as security, labour market or migration policy, the education system or (popular) cultural forms of representation) in the present and past with reference to one of the dimensions described above - "orders of knowledge", "materialities" and "subjectivations". In relation to the projects in the programme, these can be understood as observation perspectives which, although not clearly distinguishable, nevertheless offer the possibility of focusing the research interests of possible doctoral projects.
