The aim of trade union policy and action is to improve the living and working conditions of people in our society. Universities are an important part of this society; social and economic change also influences the development of universities. This is why trade unions are also active here.
In our regular office hours, we provide support with questions and problems relating to part-time jobs and/or internships. We also organise events on various topics during the semester at the University of Oldenburg and Jade University of Applied Sciences.
Our work and programmes are open to all students in Oldenburg and the surrounding area, including students at the Jade University of Applied Sciences in Wilhelmshaven, Oldenburg and Elsfleth.

Basic information on labor law issues
Students at Work | Campus Office offers free initial labour law information to help with questions and problems relating to part-time jobs (pay, working hours, rights and obligations) and/or internships. The initial labour law information is peer-to-peer advice, i.e. from students for students. (This means that all information and advice given in the initial labour and social law advice provided by the Office for University and Trade Union Co-operation campus office is not legally binding. This form of initial counselling is merely advice from students for students. Liability and recourse claims of any kind are therefore excluded). We can advise you in person during our weekly consultation hours on Thursdays from 10 am to 12 pm in the Social Department of the AStA of the University of Oldenburg (Mensa foyer). You can also send us an and we can also arrange a telephone appointment if you wish. (If you are planning to come to our office hours, you are welcome to send us an email in advance and briefly describe your concerns, which will help us prepare. The initial labour law advice is peer-to-peer counselling, i.e., from students for students. (This means that all information and advice given in the initial labour and social law consultation at the Campus Office of the Cooperation Office of the University and Trade Unions is not legally binding. This form of initial consultation is merely tips from students for students. For this reason, liability and recourse claims of any kind are excluded).
