Professionalisation programme "Transcultural Interreligious Studies"

Professionalisation programme "Transcultural Interreligious Studies"

Profile

Our society is characterised by an increasing diversity of religions and cultures, knowledge of which is becoming ever more important in schools and academia. The professionalisation programme "Transcultural Interreligious Studies" teaches basic knowledge of Jewish, Christian and/or Islamic religion and culture and interreligious education. On the other hand, this basic knowledge is closely linked to the religious, historical and cultural studies-based study of the interrelationships between Jewish, Christian and Muslim ways of life and theologies.
