The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically changed higher education landscape, increasing greatly the acceptance and implementation of online and hybrid teaching modes in higher education and bringing about a great variety and use of digital teaching tools. Hybrid formats have become “the new normal” even for international workshops and conferences. After turbulent times of adaptation and trial-and-error we can now review lessons learned and see how we can integrate the best of the hybrid with the pre-pandemic traditional teaching.
The presentation gives an overview on the setups for hybrid courses developed and digital teaching tools implemented in the renewable energy master programmes (PPRE) at the UOL. We will also discuss students’ perceptions on their interaction, motivation and learning experience in the course.
