An evening lecture on 13 November will compare the German and American university systems. 14 November is dedicated to the ideas and reforms of the university that were developed in the 19th century. An outline of the university debate in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung of 1931 will be followed by a panel discussion. The presentation of the new edition of Karl Jaspers' "Schriften zur Universitätsidee" will conclude the event.
