Historical development and current topics in university construction

The exhibition offers a comprehensive view of the historical development and current topics of university construction worldwide on over 60 panels. The different trends and mission statements in architecture and urban planning have left their mark on university development. In addition to the development of special building typologies for research and teaching, the exhibition also looks at the urban integration of the university in the respective context, the changing framework conditions in the information age and new trends towards the "re-urbanisation" of the university.
