On this site you can find the O-Week schedule 2026 for all new students of all physics study programs. There are also extra events organised by the university. You can find more information on it here.

We warmly invite you to our traditional barbecue evening on the Wechloy campus. We’ll be providing the barbecue food (including vegan options), side dishes and drinks – do come along hungry!
The barbecue area is in the courtyard of the Wechloy campus, next to the three fountains. If you head down the stairs from the direction of the cafeteria and go outside, you’ll already be able to see our hard-working barbecue chefs at work.
We prepared a timetable for your O-Week so that you can have a better overview. Feel free to come to our O-Week lounge every day from 9:00 to 18:00 (Friday only until 13:00). There you will be able to get to know other first semesters and people from the student council will also be there. We will have board games there for you, if you want to play games but you can also just come to chill.
In the study program introductions there will be a detailed intruduction to your study program. We recomand to come to the the introduction since you will be getting important information and the slots for the basic lab will be distributed there. After every indroduction there will be a campus tour.
